Disley Cricket Club runs three open-age teams in competitive senior cricket throughout the summer. These sides cater for players of all ages and abilities.

Home games are played at the Disley Amalgamated Sports Club.

Saturday Cricket

The 1stXI represent the pinnacle of our competitive offering, playing their cricket in Division 1 of the UKFast Cheshire Cricket League against teams from throughout Cheshire.

They are supplemented by the 2ndXI who play in a more localised Division B East.

Both teams also compete in a midweek Twenty20 Cup competition.

Sunday Cricket

The 3rdXI take part in the Cheshire County Cricket League on Sunday afternoons. Whilst still competitive cricket, this is a shorter and more relaxed format with a strong focus on junior development.

It also acts as an introduction back into competitive cricket for players who may be returning to the game.

Training

The club hosts weekly outdoor training sessions, held throughout the summer on Thursday evenings at the Disley Amalgamated Sports Club from 6pm.

This is supplemented by an annual indoor programme in the winter.

Recruitment

The Club is always looking to recruit new members, particularly talented and enthusiastic cricketers from the High Peak, Stockport and South Manchester area.

We encourage players of all ages and abilities to get in touch.  If you have an interest in cricket ranging from competitive Saturday league cricket to occasional recreational Sunday and mid-week friendlies, we will have a team for you.

Please consult the Membership section of the website for information on fees.
